Background

Flook the Label is a Bali-inspired resort shop created by British designer Nikki Flook and started in 2014. Described as “sports luxe with a hippy Ibiza twist,” Flook is an excellent stop for easy breezy vacation looks and sporty summer wear. The comfy knits and cozy sets are great affordable items to set-up your spring/summer this year. The brand has a “small factory in Denpasar, Bali, which specializes in swimwear and lingerie and uses the local Balinese women to handcraft all of the macrame pieces.”


What I Like About It

I came across Flook, again, but one of my fashionista Instagram girls. I recently found it when looking for unique vacation fits that don't break the bank but also bring quality with a laid-back yet chic style. I received my first order this week and should've ordered a few more pieces. The fabrics are delicate - something to be mindful of considering what you're shopping for. A rough surface or a nail snag can create a problem, but I was looking for a light, breezy cover, and dress. Regarding sizing, it is noted on the site, "Please be aware that different styles and different yarns/fabrics will have a different fit. Therefore, you may not take the same size in all Flook styles" - good to know. Free shipping on orders over $200.00 to the US, and delivery usually runs 3-10 business days. Also noted on the site, "You, the importer, are responsible for payment of import taxes to your country." - keep this in mind at check-out. For returns, you must submit a request via email, which must be done 14 days after you receive the order. Sale items are only given store credits for returns. Overall the site is beautifully done; easy check out with PayPal, google pay, or apple pay - and credit cards are accepted. An excellent stop for chic and breezy resort looks.
