Noting that launching in 2013, they got lucky with timing and rode the wave of social media influence. Starting with an idea for growing its social media and reposting top fashion bloggers, the brand started paying attention to its followers, begging for pieces they were putting together in mood boards, and the brand was then born. Posting potential pieces and asking whether or not it was wanted, they started to produce. By capturing the eyes of notable stylists, their big hit came with one post from Kylie Jenner. The brand continues its success and offers fitting fits, fantastic sizing, and inventory with only a few pieces over $50.00-$100.00.


What I Like About It

Although priced slightly higher than most affordable boutiques for the masses, Meshki brings unique pieces with a personal take on the latest trends. An excellent stop for basics and trendy pieces alike. It's an aesthetically pleasing site, clean - although it can sometimes be clunky with the beautiful campaigns, it is an entertaining browse that will likely bring you to pieces you didn't know you needed - which we love. Standard shipping is $9.99, with free shipping for orders over $130.00 for 4-10 business day delivery. Express will be about $19.99 and free for orders over $350.00 with a 2-5 business day delivery. Unfortunately, there are no refunds; we don't love this - but they offer store credit or exchanges, but it must be within 30 days of order, not delivery, and a return fee of $17.99 applied. Even though the shipping is not the fastest (or most affordable) and the returns are unforgiving, Meshki stays on my go-to list for affordable shopping and good overall inspiration.
